Hostel Info

UTeM students hostels are mostly located outside the campus. Transportation is provided (UTeM bus) for students from Monday to Friday, 7a.m. until 10.30pm. As for locations of the hostels, some are near to each other, but mostly are quite far (NOT walking distances) from both Main and City Campus. **  Cubic  (Industrial building used for lectures at Taman Tasek Utama. Not located at both campuses. ) and Fasa B are nearer to TTU2 and TTU3 hostels.

Most of the hostels are apartments, while hostels at TTU2 are actually double-storey terrace houses. Bunga Raya, EP ,Murni and D'Apartment are at Bukit Beruang area. TTU2 and TTU3 are at Taman Tasek Utama (near MITC).

The newly established student hostels (named Lestari) in the Main Campus are now available for the students to stay. Its location is near to FKEKK and it is mainly divided into two sides for boy and girls respectively.

The first and second year students are compulsory to stay at hostels. The fees are included in tuition fee every semester. Students get to stay at different hostels each year but some will get the same hostels (depends on course and faculty). But each semester break the rooms have to be cleared. Usually store is provided at each hostel so students can store their things.
